Herpes Simplex 1?

I cut these 2 small cuts on the corner of my mouth. I have had friends who have gotten them before and said they think they are a mild symptom of a cold sore. On sunday the cuts were starting to heal and by Monday they were pretty much completely gone. However, on Sunday, I gave oral S-- to a guy I was hooking up with.

1. Does this sound like a cold sore?
2. If it was almost healed do you think he will get genital herpes?
